Sandyford Properties, the UK multi-let industrial property company, has let two units totalling 26,005 sq ft at two of its multi-let industrial estates in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent.

Kix FC, an indoor football operator, has taken a unit of 22,500 sq ft at Park Works Industrial Estate on a five-year lease. The occupier has undertaken an extensive fit-out programme at the unit, including the installation of an artificial football pitch and other indoor sports equipment.

Transform Hub, a national gym operator, has taken a unit of 3,505 sq ft at Far Green Industrial Estate on a five-year lease. Transform Hub is planning to implement an extensive fit-out at the unit, which is expected to complete in the second quarter of 2025.

Both Park Works and Far Green industrial estates are located in close proximity to the city centre of Stoke-on-Trent and junction 15 of the M6 motorway, providing excellent access to local submarkets within Staffordshire.

Charlotte Worthington, asset manager at Sandyford Properties, said: “The completion of these leases highlights our commitment to continue the record letting success we achieved last year and demonstrates sustained strong demand for flexible, well-located industrial space.”

“We are excited to welcome Kix FC and Transform Hub to the Sandyford portfolio and look forward to working with them as they continue to expand their businesses”.

Chris Hall, director of Kix FC, commented: “We were delighted to work with Sandyford to secure this unit at Park Works, which represents our first site, and are looking forward to continuing our relationship with the Sandyford team as we grow our presence within the north west”.

Sandyford was advised by Louis Taylor.

Sandyford strengthens finance team to support ambitious growth in North West and Midlands

Sandyford Properties has appointed James Obuya as purchase ledger clerk to support its expansion across the North West and Midlands.

In his new role, James will play a vital part in managing and processing supplier payments, maintaining financial records and supporting the efficient operation of the finance function as Sandyford scales up its growing portfolio.

James joins from global betting company bet365, where he worked as an accounts assistant. His career has also included service in the armed forces, bringing a strong work ethic and discipline to his new position.

James will work with Sally Woodward, head of commercial finance, and Nicky Sutton, financial controller, as part of a finance team focused on supporting the company’s ambitious plans to double the size of its portfolio.

Since acquiring Cheshire-based Brymau Estates in March 2021, Sandyford has significantly expanded its multi-let industrial portfolio and now manages more than 1.7 million sq ft of space across the North West.

Paul Brindley, managing director of Sandyford Properties, said: “We are excited to welcome James to our finance team at such an exciting time for the business. His skills and dedication will be a great asset as we continue to strengthen our footprint in the Midlands and build on our success in the North West”.
