Park Steele: Springing Into 2025

Park Steele: Springing Into 2025 by Iain Steele.

After over 20 years in East Street, we relocated our Farnham office to St Georges Yard, Castle Street…

There is a decided spring in our step, here at Park Steele as we review the 2025 property market so far. A quick analysis of our year to date shows, perhaps surprisingly, equally high levels of interest and transactions across Office, Retail and Industrial.

The discussion around returning to the office instead of Working from Home is now transforming into performance; both out of town locations and town centre space is in demand. Landlords are thinking more laterally – two of our clients have recently repurposed their spaces and successfully let to beauty salon occupiers. Indeed, office spaces generally continue to develop into the wellness sector.

It is equally interesting times for Retail: the move to online offerings from the established nationally recognised brands has paved the way for the independents who have also been taking space in smaller local towns and the villages.

Industrial, which has been the stalwart of the property market for the last five years remains strong, despite the other two sectors giving it a run for its money. Units up to about four thousand square feet continue to generate interest, both from investors and occupiers.

Based in Farnham and Chichester, Park Steele, established in 1999 and regulated by the RICS, offers clients advice on commercial property throughout the South-East. We are always happy to chat so please do give us a call.
