Accenture signs at Cobalt – Cushman & Wakefield

Accenture has agreed a 10-year lease on Cobalt 15a, a building providing 30,515 sq ft of office space on the Cobalt business park in Newcastle. The property will initially accommodate 250 staff but the global management consultancy group is expected to expand further at the business park.

Cushman & Wakefield acted for Highbridge Properties, the developers of Cobalt. It says the 15a building has a triple-height feature reception and 3m clear floor-to-ceiling height, and notes that Accenture is joining many other major names at the 1.86m sq ft Cobalt park, including Orange, Santander, Hewlett Packard, Procter & Gamble and G4S.

Adrian Hill, director at Highbridge, said Accenture’s decision was “part of a national trend of service-sector companies moving to prime office park locations.” Accenture was represented by BNP Paribas Real Estate.
