Glenny sets up regeneration and infrastructure division

Glenny LLP has established a new regeneration and infrastructure division to provide advice to public-sector and private clients. The firm of chartered surveyors and property consultants will draw on its experience throughout east London to provide a range of services through the new division, from strategic advice on schemes, to site negotiations, land assembly and acting as an expert witness.

Colin Cottage, head of the division, says the east London region will need to refocus its regeneration efforts after the Olympics in 2012. “Areas that may not have benefited directly from the Olympic windfall are keen to make the most of opportunities to renew their urban environments, as well as provide business opportunities which create employment,” he adds.

You can see information on the various properties for sale and to let through Glenny here. The firm has developed particular expertise in the fields of regeneration consultancy, site acquisition and compulsory purchase & compensation. It has been involved in many of the significant Compulsory Purchase Orders in east London during the past decade, and its work has included acting for the London Development Agency as one of the principal advisers for the Olympic Compulsory Purchase Order.
