Cardiff is the capital city of and largest city in Wales and lies approximately 12 miles west of Newport and 45 miles east of Swansea. It lies to the south of the M4 motorway, which can be accessed via junctions 30, 32 and 33 with the A470 and A48 providing links from the motorway to the city centre. Additonally numerous bus routes serve the area and Cardiff Airport lies approximately 12 miles to the south west of the city centre.
