Location

London Stansted is situated at the junctions of the M11 (Junction 8) and the A120 with dedicated slip roads from the motorway. The A120 has recently been upgraded to dual carriageway from the M11 eastwards to Braintree. Road connections are excellent with the M11 southbound connecting to the M25 and northbound to the A14 giving access to the Midlands and the North. Stansted 600 is located at the junctions of the A120 and the approach roads to Stansted Cargo Area and the passenger terminal. The site benefits from extensive frontage to the A120 and is within minutes of the Airside Boundary.  The airport has dedicated freight services and extensive European scheduled flight services. In the year to March 2009 Stansted Airport transported over 191,000 tonnes of cargo. This cargo was transported via operators including FedEx FedEx, TNT, UPS, Servisair and Aviance. By rail the passenger terminal has express services to the City of London (35 minutes) and offers connections to the East Coast Main Line and the Midlands/North West.
