The current phase 5B is being built according to modern standards for sustainable, ecological and energy-conscious construction. Wooden beams are used in the warehouses, all areas are equipped with modern LED lighting and we generally attach great importance to plenty of natural daylight. A healthy ecosystem is also important to us. Beehives, insect hotels and nesting holes for native birds are settled in the park. And the new spaces meet of course, the DGNB Gold standard.
The entire area consists of a logistics part with large-scale logistics units of approx. 72,500 square meters of rental space and a light industrial part with flexible, small and medium-sized warehouse and office units and will have more than 85,000 square meters of rental space after completion of the fifth construction phase. Further construction phases are already in the planning stage.
SEGRO Park Berlin Airport is located in the immediate vicinity of the new Berlin-Brandenburg Capital Airport. The park is directly on the B 96a and offers an optimal connection to the motorway network through the A 113 and A 117.
Completion of the new areas is planned for the first quarter of 2023. The rental units from 1,500 square meters can be rented individually or together and also allow existing tenants to flexibly grow at the location.
