Location

Tattershall is a village in the East Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England, located on the A153 Horncastle to Sleaford road, 1.5km (1 mile) east of the point where that road crosses the River Witham. At its eastern end, Tattershall adjoins the village of Coningsby, 1.5km to the north of the village and in the same parish is the hamlet of Tattershall Thorpe.

The skyline is dominated by the National Trust’s Tattershall Castle which is a major tourist attraction and a landmark of The Fens. 

The neighbouring village of Coningsby is home to the Royal Air Force and has one of the most diverse selection of aircraft operating from its airfield, operating every type of current RAF fast jet.

In addition, within a few miles, is Woodhall Spa, known as the “jewel in the crown” which has numerous facilities and tourist attractions.
