Total E&P Distribution Warehouse Facility, Aberdee, Gateway Drive , Aberdeen, AB12 3GW

The site is located on the south side of Gateway Drive, in the heart of the Business Park and will provide a new bespoke warehouse facility with a two storey office building, together with 48 car parking spaces, built on a site of approximately 4.37 hectares (10.80 acres). Construction is scheduled to commence in January 2014 with an anticipated date for practical completion of December 2014. When complete the building will have the following specification: • Steel portal frame construction with composite roofing and panel system, with concrete dado wall infill. • Warehouse floor loading of 37.5 kN/m2. • 12.2 m haunch height in the ‘Heavy Lift’ areas and 6.5m in the remaining warehouse. • Design capacity for 2 No 25 tonne cranes and 2 No 16 tonne cranes in the ‘Heavy Lift’ warehouse areas. • Raised access floor (145 mm) in the majority of the offices. • Office floor to ceiling height 2.7m • VRF cooling/heating and mechanical ventilation in the office areas. • Heating to warehouse via LTHW radiant panels.
