Pershore Rd, Evesham, WR11 2LT

The mooring lies on the southern side of the River Avon accessed by a gateway off Pershore Road. The gate is approximately opposite 19 Pershore Road, Evesham. Steps lead down to a concrete path leading onto a steel constructed mooring with wooden planking. The site slopes steeply towards the River Avon were there is a possibility to terrace the slope to create a landscaped terrace.

The river runs in an east west direction, the flow running away from the bridge towards Chadbury Lock. The mooring extends to approximately 44ft (13.4m). Although not attached to the property, there is pay and display car parking available on Corporation Meadow, where public conveniences are also available. There is a foul water pump-out station available just beyond Glover''s Island (approximately 1 mile down stream)

Location

The River Avon passes directly through Evesham Town Centre. To the north of the mooring there is the corporation meadow, to the east lies the Crown Meadow and Waterside Gardens, which are well maintained by the Evesham Town Council forming an attractive area popular with visitors to the town. Evesham is a rapidly expanding market town, which has a very active commercial base. Evesham also has an attractive shopping centre and is well served with good out of town supermarkets and local schools.
