The subjects comprise a petrol filling station with associated shop, storage and car parking facilities. The shop/storage building is of blockwork construction, externally finished in a mix of render and pointed stonework and a pitched concrete tiled clad roof. Windows are timber framed with single glazed design, and two pedestrian access doorways provide access to the shop and storage areas respectively on the north elevation. Traditional timber signage fascia above the windows on the north elevation complete the building externally.

Internally, the subjects are divided to provide a shop/servicing area, stock storage space, and two customer toilets. The shop service area is finished by way of lino covered solid concrete flooring, painted plasterboard lined walls and ceilings, and fluorescent strip lighting. A covered pit for the servicing of vehicles is additionally located on the western side of this area. The stock storage space is located immediately adjacent to the shop/service area and is finished with unlined solid concrete flooring, plasterboard ceilings, and a mix of fluorescent strip and pendant lightings. A further small store and two separate toilets make up the remainder of the building, and these can be accessed directly from the eastern elevation.

The external areas of the site include a concrete surfaced forecourt and the three petrol/diesel fuel tanks located at the centre. An area at the eastern side of the site provides car parking for approximately three vehicles and has a tarmacadam finish. The site currently benefits from two vehicular access points with the front bounded by a road blockwork and rendered wall.

A sizeable area to the rear of the shop building is located. This is provided in an undeveloped and unsurfaced condition. Access to this area of the site is via a timber gate at the eastern elevation of the shop building.
