The port city of Aberdeen is the third largest city in Scotland lying on its north east coast approximately 61 miles north east of Dundee. It can be accessed via the A92, A96 and A956. Aberdeen railway station provides national and regional links including regular direct services to Edinburgh, Glasgow and London King's Cross. Additonally numerous bus routes serve the area and Aberdeen Airport lies approximately 6 miles to the north west of the city centre.
Aberdeen is home to two Universities, these being Aberdeen University (approximately 15,500 students) and Robert Gordon University.(approximately 18,000 students).
Ramsay Place runs west from Aboyne Road approximately 3 miles south west of Aberdeen city centre. The property lies on the south side of the road at its junction with Ramsay Gardens in a predominantly residential area and within a few minutes' walk of Robert Gordon University.
