Location

The West End Bar and Gantry Restaurant lies on a prominent site at the junction of Viewforth Place and South Loan. This is a very central and extremely prominent location, visible to all passing traffic through the town in both directions and also very accessible to the largest grouping of local population in the town. Pittenweem is one of Fife’s best known East Neuk fishing communities, being located in the A917 coastal route, which is a busy tourist link through these communities and on to the much renowned town of St Andrews, which is in fairly close proximity to the North of Pittenweem. Our clients have owned and operated the business for circa 9 years operating as the West End Bar and Gantry Restaurant which is well supported locally. Income is derived from wet sales and food operating with the assistance of 2 bar staff.
Opening hours are currently 11am – 12.00am Monday – Wednesday, 11am – 1.00am Thursday to Saturday and Sunday XXXm to 12.00am.
The restaurant is popular for functions and caters for these through set menus etc. The business generates a lot of passing trade and around 80% are local regulars. The restaurant offers a range of home cooked food and is renowned for the fresh lobster and fish pie on offer straight from the harbour at reasonable prices. The subjects are not constrained to any licensed trade tie and offer
