Location Highlights



The park is situated on The Broadway approximately 50 metres west of its crossroad junction with Taverham Road and approximately 1 mile north of the latter's junction with the A47. The immediate surrounding area is predominantly rural and is approximately 200 ft above sea level being close to the Ringland Hills. The property lies approximately 2 miles equidistant between the village of Ringland (population 250) and the Wensum Valley to the northwest, and Honingham (population 358) along with the River Tud . From Taverham Road junction with the A47, Norwich's city centre is approximately 6 miles to the east. The A47 is a trunk road linking Birmingham with Lowestoft and is on an east west axis. It is one of the main roads serving the area.

Norwich (population 141,800) is the main administrative, recreational and financial centre in Norfolk. Great Yarmouth and the coast are 22 miles to the east, Kings Lynn (44 miles) and Peterborough (98 miles) are to the west, Cambridge is 64 miles to the southwest via the A11 which provides access to the M11, with London approximately 115 miles to the south west. The city's railway station is the northern terminus for the Great Eastern Mainline with regular services to London Liverpool Street.



Specification



An established mixed residential and holiday park that is to be further developed. The park benefits from a club house, outdoor swimming pool, workshop and children's play area, tennis courts and indoor swimming pool. At the entrance to the park there is a car park area and reception/site office.

The existing park occupies a roughly rectangular shaped site that slopes gently from south to north and is surrounded on three sides by mature woodland. The park is serviced by a series of interconnecting estate roads with the club house and pool situated at the lower end of the site.

The club house is constructed of cavity brick/block walls under a pitched roof with a covering of uPVC coated profile steel sheeting. The indoor swimming pool is contained within a detached purpose built building of cavity brick/block construction under a pitched roof. The WC/laundry block is also of cavity brick/block walls construction under a pitched roof. The reception/office is a detached timber built structure at the park entrance.
