Flambards is an internationally renowned leisure park and visitor attraction located on the outskirts of Helston, West Cornwall.  Flambards has museums and exhibits which house a unique and significant collection of Victoriana, Aviation and War time memorabilia.  The exhibitions are located indoors.
Flambards Victorian Village has approximately 50 life-size shops, houses, and businesses together with all the attendant trades of the time.  The exhibition includes the entire contents of the famous chemist’s shop which was discovered after being locked away and forgotten in 1909.  The complete shop was purchased at auction by Flambards and re-assembled exactly as found some 70 years later.
Britain in the Blitz is a life-size recreation of war time Britain and depicts the hardships of day to day living, rationing and air raids in the 1940’s.
The park opened in 1976 and has remained in the same ownership.  It also has the benefit of a leisure park which has 20 rides and attractions that includes a rollercoaster, log flume and a drop twisting tower ride.
The site has a total of 27 acres.  This includes the three detached residential properties all in their own grounds and have the advantage of a separate entrance from the park.  The residential properties include Culdrose Cottage, with an extensive garden, a newly converted property known as The Old Barn and the Grade II Listed Culdrose Manor which has its own indoor swimming pool and numerous outbuildings and gardens.
The main park also incorporates various indoor and outdoor play areas including the newly constructed 11,000 square foot play centre, One2eleven which has been established to enable all year round trade.
The site has been created and extensively developed over the last 37 years and has been designed to appeal to a wide family audience.  A number of additional attractions have been added enabling the business to broaden its market including corporate and private hire.  This has resulted in visitor numbers around 300,000 for 2012.
