Location
The Fife village of Coaltown of Wemyss straddles the main A955 Kirkcaldy to Leven coastal road route.
Kirkcaldy lies approximately two miles West of the subjects and the larger settlement of East Wemyss is approximately one mile East.
The town of Kirkcaldy offers the expected range of commercial, educational and transport facilities expected of a population centre of its size and it is well connected by both road and rail to all other parts of East Central Scotland, including the main M90 Edinburgh to Perth motorway which lies further West.
Coaltown of Wemyss is a relatively small settlement with a largely residential population. The Earl David Hotel lies on the North side of the A955 on the Eastmost outskirts of the village. It is surrounded principally by residential properties. Much of the land in the area is owned by the local estate, and this includes the bulk of the area immediately behind the subject premises.
