Location Highlights



The park is situated within the hamlet of Box's Cross and Widemouth Bay is approximately 1 mile to the west. Bude is 3 �XXX miles to the north and Wadebridge is 24 miles to the south west. The A30 trunk route is approximately 18 miles to the south east via the A39 and A394.

Bude, (population 9,222) is a popular seaside town situated on Cornwall close to its border with Devon. The town contains a range of amenities including Sainsburys and Morrisons supermarkets. Premier Inn also opened a hotel in the town around 2 years ago. Widemouth Bay is a two mile long sandy beach and is popular with families and surfers. The A39 is the main road serving Devon and Cornwall's north coast and is known as the Atlantic Highway. The A30 is, however, the main road serving the central spine of Devon and Cornwall and has been subject to ongoing upgrading to dual carriageway standard. Access to the M5 motorway is via A39 / A30 with Exeter, and junction 31 of the M5 Motorway, being approximately 62 miles to the east.
