Location Highlights



The site is located immediately adjacent to junction 19 of the M60 motorway. This section of the M60 is one of the most heavily used and works were completed to upgrade it to smart status in 2018 which further increased traffic flows.

Approximately 2.2km west of Middleton Town Centre, and 6.5km north of Manchester City Centre the site is bounded by Kelvin Avenue and the residential area of Rhodes to the east, the A576 Middleton Road to the north, and Junction 19 to the west and south.

The site currently comprises an open field. Access to the site from the A576 Middleton Road is provided via a signalised crossroads with Kelvin Avenue.
