Location
Plockton is a picturesque settlement on the shores of Loch Carron on the West Coast of Scotland, 6 miles North of Kyle of Lochalsh and the Skye Bridge. The village is a popular tourist destination, partly due to the TV series Hamish Macbeth which was filmed in the village. The village is 74 miles from Inverness and 76 miles away from Fort William by road as well as being accessible by train via the famous Kyle of Lochalsh Railway line.
