Location

Situated in Wolverton Mill, approximately one mile to the west of Wolverton and 3.5 miles to the north -west of Central Milton Keynes, the site lies to the west of Harnett Drive and to the south of but, other than the access point, not fronting Stratford Road.

Access to the A5 is either from Abbey Hill Roundabout, c. 1.5 miles to the south -east or Old Stratford Roundabout, c.1.5 miles to the north - west.

Junction 14 of the M1 motorway lies approximately 5.75 miles to the east and can be accessed via the A5 and A509 (the H5 Portway).

Wolverton railway station, on the West Coast Main Line, is c. 1.5 miles to the east. Typically, there are two trains per hour to London Euston and three per hour to Birmingham New Street with average travel times of 53m and 1h 32m respectively.

Terms

Offers for employment uses conditional on planning are invited for the freehold interest in the site.

MKDP’s disposal mechanism is as follows:

1. Agreement for lease conditional on planning requiring a planning application, to be approved by MKDP, is submitted within six months of exchange.
2. 125 -year building lease, with the purchase price payable by way of a premium, on the grant of planning permission, obliging the developer to practically complete the approved scheme within an agreed timeframe.
3. Transfer of the freehold for a nominal sum after practical completion of the approved scheme.
