Grays is the largest town in Thurrock lying approximately 21 miles east of Central London and 22 miles west of Southend-on-Sea. The town lies to the south of the A13 from which it can be accessed via the A1012 and A1089 with the A13 linking to junction 30 of the M25 (Mar Dyke Interchange) just to the west of the town. Grays railway station lies within a few minutes' walk of the site providing regional rail links as well as direct services to London Fenchurch Street and Lakeside Shopping Centre is just a short drive to the west.
Maidstone Road runs south from London Road just to the north of Grays station on the western edge of the town centre. The property lies on the north side of the road adjacent to the entrance to Morrisons Superstore in a largely commercial location.
