On behalf of Goram Homes, Avison Young is seeking a Delivery Partner for their site at Castle Park. The site is a waterside, high-density development opportunity in the centre of Bristol with potential for private market sale, build-to-rent and affordable Housing. Goram Homes is seeking a partner with the expertise to deliver this highly sustainable, landmark development overlooking the Feeder Canal, next to the historic Castle Park and within walking distance to transport hubs and all the comforts of the city centre.

The building design was part of a competition won by Groupwork and McGregor Coxall, with a proposal for a stone exoskeleton and cross- laminated timber building, resulting in negative embodied carbon.

Goram Homes works in partnership to build homes that create communities and are environmentally, socially and economically sustainable. Goram Homes is a subsidiary of Bristol Holding Ltd, which is wholly owned by Bristol City Council.




Location Highlights



The Castle Park site is located in the centre of the city, in the south east of Castle Park, overlooking the Feeder Canal and Castle Bridge.

The city centre location provides easy access to work, leisure, retail and transport links, while it sits adjacent to the city's cycle network. Both Bristol Temple Meads Station to the south east and Bristol Bus Station to the north are less than a mile walk from the site, and the central shopping centres of Cabot Circus and Broadmead are within a 5 minute walk from the site.
