The former military buildings within RAF Buchan will be adapted for retail, office, business and light industrial use, as well as housing. An outline planning application has been submitted for a quality 52 bedroom hotel and a fully equipped gymnasium is also situated on site. Many of the existing features will be retained, including the attractive landscaped grounds, and open amenity space, which provides a pleasant relaxed working environment. The majority of properties are single storey and are of modern construction, with harled brick walls, concrete floors and concrete tiled roofs.
