Kent commercial property locations
Bordering East Sussex, Surrey, Greater London and Essex the county of Kent to the north faces the North Sea whilst to the south of the county faces the English Channel. There are many towns in the county with an industrial history tied to paper making and cement making. The County town of Kent is Maidstone. Other commercial and retail centres include Rochester, Canterbury, the ports of Dover and Folkestone, and Ashford and Chatham. The county is home to the iconic White Cliffs of Dover which attract many tourists to the region each year.
Both of Kent’s motorways connect with the M25. The M2 joins with the A2 in the county to create a link from London to the port at Dover and the M20 links London and Folkestone, the second of Kent’s main ports.
