Dunfermline is one of Fifes principal centres of commerce
and has a resident population now in excess of 50,000
persons and a catchment area estimated to be in the region
of 150,000. The town occupies a key position within Fife, a
few miles north of the Forth Road & Rail Bridges, and
adjacent to the M90 Motorway.
The subjects are situated on the north side of East Port

Dunfermline city centre just off the High Street. The
surrounding area is principally of a commercial nature
typical of retail/licensed and office uses at ground floor level
with some residential and office accommodation above.

Nationwide and Macbeth Currie.
DESCRIPTION
The subjects under report comprise three storey and attic

Port and the other from James Street, incorporating a small
