La Belle Angele was one of the top night clubs in Edinburgh until the Cowgate fire of 2002. Since then the current owners have spent considerable time and efforting bringing back La Belle Angele. The current night club was fully rebuilt since the fire to modern building standards including over £XXX of sound proofing. Regardless of the act there will be no noise complaints from the neighbours. The venue holds 600 persons comfortably. There is a state of the art, bespoke and specially designed sound and PA system which has had rave reviews since the club reopened. The owners have spent the last 2 years rebuilding the reputation of the club and recent acts such as Twin Atlantic and Craig Charles have insisted on booking the club again.
The current owners are looking to lease the subjects to an experienced operator who will continue to drive the business forward. From July 2016 onwards the club in now open 5-7 nights a week, having previously traded for only 2 nights a week since it reopened. They have an excellent line up for the August Festival and for the students returning at Freshers week.
