Location

 Hawick is an attractive town in the Scottish Borders located at the confluence of the river Teviot and Slitrig water approximately 12 miles south of Selkirk and 21 miles south west of Kelso. The town is well known as a centre for knitwear and textiles as well as its strong sporting heritage in Rugby, Football. The town lies within the Scottish Borders region and has a population of approximately 15,000 people.

 Slitrig Crescent lies towards the southern periphery of the town overlooked by low lying hillside and fronting Slitrig Water a tributary of the river Teviot. The northern end of Slitrig Crescent lies a short walk from Hawick town centre and contains some traditional styled and quite attractive residential properties which provide a good quality environment for this development.
