The building is octagonal in shape with ground and a galleried first floor accessed by a spiral staircase. Principally open plan it incorporates 2 cellular offices / meeting room, a kitchen and male / female w.c facilities. It is carpet tiled with uplighters and a gas fired heating system. The Octagon dates back to 1776 when it was built as a preaching house for the late John Wesley. It was converted to office use as part of a residential development in 1990.
