Location

The subjects are situated to the southern end of Garrell Road
close to its junction with Garrell Way, within Burnside Industrial
Estate, Kilsyth. Kilsyth town centre lies approximately 1 mile to
the north.
The town of Kilsyth is situated to the foot of the Campsie Fells
on the A803 route which leads out from Glasgow, partly
forming the Springburn by-pass route, with Glasgow City
Centre lying approximately 8 miles to the southwest.
Kilsyth forms one of several similar towns in the area which
include Milton of Campsie, Lennoxtown and Kirkintilloch, with
onwards journey to the east of the A803, linking it with the M80
motorway at Junction 5.
Surrounding property uses to the subjects are of a mixed
nature, typically comprising industrial uses to immediately
nearby, however, there are residential uses in close proximity
also, to the immediate west. Kilsyth sports field also lies
immediately to the east.
