The Clydebank plant forms a large manufacturing facility extending to 2.86 ha (7.06 acres).
The subjects are laid out to provide a large industrial unit built in three bays of steel portal frame construction with brick to dado level and profile metal sheeting above. Floors are concrete and the roof is profile metal sheeting incorporating translucent panels. The original building has an eaves height of 7.5m (28 ft).

There is a two storey office building providing a mixture of cellular and open plan offices. There are also a number of small outbuildings which include the gatehouse and boiler house and a port-a-cabin used as a first aid room.
The site is generally surfaced with tarmac and enclosed with palisade and barbed wire fencing.
