Location
Oban is the principal town of North Argyll serving a large rural area of the Highlands and Islands. The town is a main ferry port and railway terminal with a large number of daily ferry sailings to a variety of Inner and Outer Hebridean islands and with regular train services to Glasgow via the famous West Highland line. The town is a very popular tourist destination in its own right throughout the year however particularly in the summer months.

Directions
In Oban, take the A816 from Argyll Square signposted Lochgilphead. Where the road forks at Glencruitten Church, take the left hand fork and continue up Glencruitten Road.
