Former Lanark Grammar School, Site 2, Albany Drive/Kirklands Road, Lanark, ML11 9AJ

The site extends to approximately 1.78 acres and has now been cleared of all buildings. Several large mature trees bound the property along the Albany Drive frontage where access to the site is to be taken. The site is bounded by existing residential properties, apart from its eastern side where the new Lanark Grammar School is located.

Location

The sites are located close to the centre of Lanark. Lanark is the main market town in South Lanarkshire. It is located approximately 25 miles south east of Glasgow and 35 miles south west of Edinburgh. Main access roads into the town are the A73, which links to the M8 motorway, and the A72, which links to the M74 motorway via the picturesque Clyde Valley. Lanark railway station operates a twice hourly service to Glasgow Central or Motherwell. Lanark has a range of amenities with foodstores, retail park, schools and New Lanark World Heritage site, all in close proximity to the sites.

Our client is inviting offers for the benefit of its heritable interest in both sites. Offers for both sites would be preferred, however, individual offers for each site will also be considered. Conditional offers should set out clearly the conditions of purchase and likely timescale for discharge of such.
