Garroch Business Park is a good quality location for business space and industrial units on the western periphery of Dumfries. It has easy access onto the A75 at the Garroch Roundabout, together with the A76, A701and A709 arterial routes which all branch out of Dumfries. Dumfries, with a population of around 37,500, is the principal shopping and administrative centre for southwest Scotland. The town is around 75 miles south of Glasgow and 34 miles northwest of Carlisle, and is bypassed by the A75, which links the ferry ports of Stranraer and Cairnryan in the west of the region with the M74/M6 motorway corridor at Gretna.
