Surrey commercial property locations
One of the Home Counties and famous as being the site of the signing of the Magna Carta, Surrey shares borders with Greater London, Kent, East Sussex, West Sussex, Hampshire and Berkshire. The County town is Guildford although since 1893 the administrative centre has been Kingston-on-Thames which was moved inside the Greater London boundary in 1965. Much of Surrey’s population commute to London to work, therefore the region now has a largely service based industry which is closely linked to London. Retail towns in the county include Guildford, Woking, Ewell and Camberley.
The M25 runs across the north-eastern boundary and the M3 connects to this and runs down the western boundary creating access to the south coast of England and north to the Midlands and beyond.
