Dumfries and Galloway commercial property locations

In Scotland, Dumfries and Galloway was created in 1975 and shares borders with South Ayreshire, East Ayreshire, Lanarkshire, the Scottish Borders, and Cumbria in England. Dumfries, Annan, and Stranraer are the commercial centres of this county. The mountainous terrain of Dumfries and Galloway means much of the regions economy comes from agriculture and tourism.
The M74 is the only motorway through the county although the A75, A76, A77 and A701 provide good links in and out of the region. Ferries leave from Stranraer for Belfast, Northern Ireland and from Cairnryan for Larne, Northern Ireland.
