Cambridgeshire, famous for the university in its County town of Cambridge, shares borders with Lincolnshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex and Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, and Northamptonshire. The M11 is the main artery through Cambridgeshire connecting the county with the M25 and London to the south. The A1 also runs through the county providing a second access route to London and also Edinburgh to the north.
